about_trainers3_10
Rebecca received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 1997 and spent 10 years in IT Sales for Xerox Corporation and Genesys Conferencing. After gaining between 50-65 pounds through each of her 3 pregnancies, Rebecca designed and created her own unique exercise and nutritional program, which transformed her body post-partum. Rebecca then decided to pursue her true passion, helping women regain their pre-baby bodies, and received her certification as a personal trainer through NASM, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, in 2009. NASM certifications are the most sought-after in the personal training industry, as its systems and methodologies represent the “gold standard” in fitness. The organization’s certifications require the most comprehensive knowledge of human movement science, functional anatomy, physiology and kinesiology. Additionally, Rebecca is certified in Pre/Post Natal, Weight Loss Management, and CPR/AED. Rebecca resides in Chicago with her husband and three children, ages 3, 6 and 10. She enjoys chasing after her 3 very active children, running, traveling, dining out, reading, binge-watching Netflix, girls’ nights out, and eating dessert.
