Below a few guidelines for your daily water and beverage intake.

Why drink more water

1. Initial weight loss is largely due to loss of water, so you need to drink enough water to avoid dehydration.
2. The process of burning calories requires water in order to function efficiently; dehydration slows down the fat-burning process.

Drink hot water with lemon in morning. This will help to detoxify your body and speed up your metabolism.

Drink glass of water with every meal and snack. 1/2 before you eat and 1/2 after so you remember to drink throughout the day.

Replace coffee with green tea when you can.

When you do not need the caffeine, drink decaffeinated green tea. Optimal is 2-5 cups per day.
